About Us :
AZIZ EUROPEAN PIPE FACTORY L.L.C. (AEPF), a partnership between the Saudi company AZIZ and the Forrest Group, is one of the largest manufacturer of spiral submerged arc welded steel pipes (SAW) in the Middle East and is the sole manufacturer in the Middle East using the off-line welding technic from Salgitter AG.
Those steel pipes are for transmission of oil, water and natural gas ; pipes can be used also for building structural use and piling.

Overview of the Plant
The plant is located in the Second Industrial City of Dammam (Saudi Arabia) and takes up an area of 80,000 sq. m and is sets up with New Baron Leveque S.A. from Belgium and with Salzgitter AG from Germany.
The annual production capacity for the on line and off line is 240,000 metric ton per year.
The plant incorporates the latest state of the art technology for the manufacture of the Spiral Welded Pipes from Salgitter AG to meet the stringent requirements of the Oil and Gas companies of the Middle East such as ARAMCO, ROYAL DUTCH SHELL and EXXON MOBIL.
AEPF has installed the latest updated generation manufacturing and inspection equipment to meet the increasing demand on quality from the oil and gas companies.
Inspection and Quality System
For the material selection, Quality Control for strictly selected material suppliers of sour and non sour hot rolled steel coil is rigorously maintained through review of suppliers own quality control system, manufacturing procedures, plant facilities, material processing and testing.
For the pipemaking, forming and welding, AEPF maintains a technical dialogue with leading international organizations to keep pace with the latest innovations in hot rooled coul making, forming and welding.
Rigorous inspection procedures begin with the arrival of the raw material ; inspection checks any material defects and damage. Every stage of the manufacturing process is monitored on a continuous basis up to the finished pipe. Pipe surfaces are inspected and quality controlled in and out. Advanced Non Destructive Testing as x-ray test and fluoroscopy technology ensure best quality.
AEPF works at all time in close coodination with Salgitter AG to incorporate the latest advances in steel technology.
A comprehensive program in implementing the quality system as per guidelines American Petroleum Institute (API) and ISO 9001 was undertaken from the beginning.
